Somebody posted that “rentals never make you rich” and we got a ton of engagement on this thread. Here are some of the top responses:
I’m a CPA servicing real estate investors and can confirm rentals made many investors millions (equity from appreciation) over the past 10 years.
Never!! If you have say 2,000 units all at $1200 a month that’s $2.4M a month even if you have to pay mortgages, taxes and insurance say for the example totaling $2M you still clear over $300k a month.
If that’s not good passive income than I don’t want to play monopoly any more 😂
That is untrue. Rentals give you income and the appreciation over time gives you multiple returns. Buy and hold, then buy and hold a second one, then repeat, repeat, repeat and so on.
I started 12 years ago doing it.
I won't boast about where I am financially, but believe me… Real Estate holdings will make you rich with consistency and patience.
